Team Prevail's fourth-grade girls team from Morganton won their bracket at the 2024 Teammate Basketball National Championship in Rock Hill, S.C., with a 3-0 record. Defeated Zone 6 Celtics South (Ga.) 32-22 Defeated GA Pearls 2032 YG (Ga.) 30-19 Defeated Palmetto Pressure (S.C.) 32-23 Team members included Maria Marroquin, Ne’lyla Maxwell, Skylin Humphries, Kaylee Bristol, Ivy Moellman, Aleigha Banner, Taraji Largent, Brynlee Denton, Jaylee Surratt, and Dakota Dolinger.
