Rotary Club of Valdese — Rev. Bill Roberts, Elsie Whisenant, Dr. John Lafferty, and Meredith Beynat did a fantastic job of keeping the Rotary Club of Valdese up to date on the progress of Rotary Internationals efforts to eradicate Polio. This effort has been going on since 1985, with Rotary members donating more that $2.1 billion. Volunteers have protected 3 billion children in 122 countries. Progress has been astounding with only six new cases in 2024. Polio Plus is a great way to contribute financially to making Polio disappear forever.
